CP 2279

CP 2279 is seen at the waterfront in Rockland, Maine switching out cement cars from Dragon. This is the first CP locomotive to be used on the Rockland Branch since CP acquired CMQ in June of last year.

Nice photo of a reasonably clean and colorful locomotive! It's interesting in its campaign to reach Atlantic cost ports, CP promotes Saint John and Searsport but never mentions Rockland, ME! I could see unit trains of potash transloading to ship in touristy Rockland! ;-)
