Don Haskel made the very best capture of a leading NH C425 to be found anywhere. He shares this special work up with us. Once all of the road's new 2500/2550s had arrived, they owned the Maybrook line. Crews preferred the ride quality of the GEs, making scenes like this very scarce. This Sunday afternoon westbound is at Indian Wells State Park. The two RS3s are local power working their way back to Danbury.

Stunning! The New Haven has come to life again! Please give us more like this.

Superb capture! This NH livery is quite attractive for its 2nd gen power. Looks like a few box cars of potatoes are heading west perhaps to the L&HR?

Nice shot. Even as a bankrupt railroad, the New Haven always looked good!

Great shot, and no graffiti on the cars! At least the New Haven knew how to move potatoes west. PC failed miserably.
