NKP 759 Run-by at New Milford PA - the wind-up

In May of 1970, High Iron operated an excursion on the Erie side between Hoboken and Binghamton via Port Jervis on Saturday with the return via the DL&W via Scranton on Sunday. Here the riders have detrained for a run-by at New Milford PA on the ex-DL&W main and the consist is backing up in preparation to charge past the cameras. Looks like something needs some attention...

Photographed by John Barlow, May, 1970.
