Lehigh Valley Potpourri 1: Fallen FlagsIt goes without saying that photos of freight trains from the 20th century feature cars of many now extinct railroads but this 1969 photo of an LV freight lugging a bright yellow 50' box featuring red trucks owned by one-time interurban RR Illinois Terminal bears posting. By 1982, the IT would be absorbed by Norfolk Southern who would honor "The Road of Personalized Services" with a bright green heritage unit.
