UP 3604, UP 3730, (SD40-2') and 2 more siblings lead a westbound intermodal train thru Point of Rocks, WY. Point of Rocks is east of Green River (division point) and Rock Springs and adjacent to an exit on I 80. Westbound trains approach around a sweeping curve. There is a grade crossing a short distance south of the I 80 exit and little else. North of the exit was a modern truck stop and little else.
