It is hoped the fate of the crew of this sad result was to walk away from the scene uninjured. The B&M geeps here were stored at E. Deerfield in this 1980 capture.

Wrecked in Aug., 1979 in Chicopee. Train hit a washout, crew survived, BM 1725 and 1726 rebuilt as first of B&M's GP9 rebuilds, emerging as 1825 and 1826.
