BM 1707 (GP9) sits on a freight preparing to leave Mechanicville Yard. I believe this would have been taken during the summer on 1965. I don't recall the direction this train was headed; not sure if there is enough information in the photo for a long-time B&M fan to help with that. Looks like a grey day, so shadows will not help.
