Erie Lackawanna Drill at Montclair, NJ Mid-1960's

EL 930 (RS3) is working its way back to its train with 2 empty hoppers retrieved from the coal yard to the right of the tracks in this view. Gray, maroon, and yellow paint was still relatively now on these ex-Erie units working on ex-DL&W track. DL&W's own RS3's were even blacker than the Erie's had been, lacking the yellow wings and the yellow on the ends. The Lackawanna had used these bright colors only on cab-units and the FM Trainmasters.
