Phoenix bound.

The new line from Williams Jct to Crookton was opened in 1960. The original mainline was retained in single track form, from Williams Jct. to Ash Fork, AZ, to connect with the Peavine route to Phoenix. The line, pictured at Daze, made use of a number of broad reverse curves to change altitude with reasonable grades.
