The westernmost point on the C&NW in 1970 - 4

Here's a sunshine-lit view of the station at Lander WY. Apparently the last passenger train to Lander was sometime in 1943 so I'm guessing Railway Express Agency service may have ended then. As of June 2014 the depot was still standing (although painted red) used by the local Chamber of Commerce.
