Ex-Southern high nose SD40 3252 was acquired by CP via GATX 6/92 and was ultimately used as a B unit by CP. Here 5482 is mated with a GMD-built SD40-2 at Bevier St yard in Binghamton in October 2005. CP acquired 11 such high hood SD40s - in 2 more months, CP will retire 5482.
