CN 5508 was one of 60 SD60F units built only for CN in 1989 and it sports the 2nd paint scheme CN applied to its diesels starting with cab units as far back as the '60s (CN's original green and yellow scheme would have looked pretty good on these cowl units!). CN would retire these units 3 years after this photo was taken.
