Pan Am NMED manifest departs Ayer

It's not often that one can photograph an entire freight train in New England but while Pan Am's Northern Maine Jct to E Deerfield symbol freight had an excess of EMD power (including an NS SD70M), it had a modest consist as it crosses the Nashua River from Ayer to Shirley in September 2010.

Photographed by John Barlow, September 19, 2010.
Added to the photo archive by John Barlow, November 9, 2019.
Railroad: Pan Am Southern.
