NPCU's Latest Attire

Amtrak NPCU #90250 is wearing its third appearance since it was converted from F40PH #250 in 1998 for "Cascades" service in the Pacific Northwest.

It first wore the distinctive "Cascades" color scheme and was converted without an onboard baggage compartment, since the TALGO sets in that service had their own baggage cars.

Its second appearance had it "wrapped" with the logo and colors of the NFL's Seattle Seahawks. It currently wears Amtrak's Phase V colors and was reconfigured with rollup baggage doors similar to other standard F40 rebuilds.

It is shown making a station stop in Vancouver, Wash. on Seattle-Portland "Cascades" #501.
