Brightly Repainted Lackawanna MU Lays Over at Gladstone, NJTrailer combine 3408 sits at the west end of a set of MU equipment at Gladstone, NJ. I'm not sure how to label it, as i see no ownership markings on the car, just the number. Conrail was operating the trains, funded by the state of NJ, at this time. While the brightly painted combine makes for a nice photo, with the puddle and matching structure, the bright colors feel a little sacrilegious to a photographer who grew up with these cars all painted Pullman green.
