Three F40s begin the 50 mile assault of the Front Range to ultimately climb from the Mile High City to the continental divide at the Moffat Tunnel (9,239 feet elevation) delivering skiers to the slopes of Winter Park just past the tunnel's west portal. The grade averages 1.5% without exceeding 2%.
