SP Daylight in Michigan

In the summer of 2009, SP Daylight 4449 made a trek to Owosso MI to join NKP 765 and PM 1225 for a two day Steamfest. Here handsomely styled 4449 is taking the morning excursion from Owosso to Alma past the frequently photographed Carland MI elevator as the fog burns off. This is the former Ann Arbor line now owned by the state of Michigan and operated by Great Lakes Central.

Photographed by John Barlow, July 28, 2009.
