The Cape Cod Canal Railroad BridgeFirst constructed in 1933 and then completed in 1935, the Cape Cod Canal Railroad Bridge was once the longest spanning railroad bridge in the world (now, the second behind the Arthur Kill Railroad Bridge that connects New Jersey with Staten Island, New York). It is currently being maintained and operated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
