During their short careers as self-propelled cars, the Amtrak/CDOT Budd SPVs worked interchangeably in New Haven-Springfield service for Amtrak and on Metro North's Waterbury and Danbury branches. Here an SPV departs Waterbury, CT, for Bridgeport beneath the clock tower of the city's landmark station.
