Visitor Comments about this Photo:Just want to provide an update for my unknown photo. Mr. W. George Cook contacted me with the data I needed to fill in some of the blanks. The beautiful stone structure is the office building for International Paper in Wilder, VT. The rail line in front of the building is a 2' narrow gage line that served the mill. As it was located in Wilder it was served by the Boston & Maine line to St. Johnsbury, VT. When the 'new' Wilder Dam was built in the late 1950s just downstream of the old mill site most of this area was put underwater as part of the dam impoundment. Posted by Arnold L.
