MEC 381 in the Snow!

It's been a several years since 381 has turned a wheel on the rails north of the Chelmsford Wye,and here it was sitting on Route 3A across from Grappone Toyota in Bow. 381 arrived here on Wednesday afternoon (3/7) as an NA-1 just prior to that Nor'Easter of the week. This was taken Thursday 3/8, just after the bulk of the storm had passed, but the flakes were still flying. The snow covered 381 would remain until an NA-1 crew arrived on Friday 3/9 to take this train north into Concord. This was also a pretty lengthy train for these rails with 21 cars. At least the crew had a pretty easy walk in the snow to get to their train.
