Imperial Salon Car

This heavy weight coach is one of what were called on the C&O: Imperial salon cars. They seated only 45 passengers in near-parlor car comfort. They had carpeted floors and 2-1 seating. They were a feature of The George Washington in the 1930's. Now it serves as home for the HO gauge model railroad at B&O Railroad Museum, Baltimore, MD
