Naugatuck Valley BuddAn unrepainted New Haven RDC running as Penn Central train 453 between Waterbury and Bridgeport, CT, accelerates away from the Naugatuck stop. The US Rubber/Uniroyal plant at left, where my father worked, dominated the town for years and provided over a thousand jobs. It is now completely gone.
