A "NEGSxcellent" Sighting

On a quiet Sunday morning in Concord, New Hampshire, New England Southern was on the move. Besides their usual cargo of a pair of clay slurry tank cars for the 3M plant in Tilton, this train had a couple of extra notable cars that were headed to new and safe surroundings. These cars came from the former Claremont Concord Railroad, and were bought to Concord by Pan Am earlier last week.

The Baggage Car (NEGS 7822) was built in 1936 by Canadian Car & Foundry. The Caboose is a former CN inspection or superintendent's car. Definitely something out of the ordinary making a move on "These New Hampshire Rails" .

Here is the six axle baggage car, moving ever so slowly and carefully through the White Mountain Branch switch in Concord.
