inside the Columbian's Observation: Rear

The B&O coach streamliner Columbian was newly equipped with streamlined equipment built by Pullman-Standard in 1947. One of the Observation cars, named Washington, is preserved at Baltimore's B&O Railroad Museum. While the car is not open at present, I was able to get these interior photos in 1997.

Photographed by Bill Hakkarinen, November, 1997.
