Pioneer Valley local "PV-2" departs their yard at Westfield, MA with traffic for the Easthampton Branch. Founded in 1982, this company took over a few Conrail lines in Western Massachusetts and business continues to flourish. Unique to the Pioneer Valley is their fleet of well maintained EMD CF7's which were converted by AT&SF from their F7A's.
