NS now calls this interlocking CP-Johnson with the connecting track being the "Johnson Runner". About 2 miles west of CP-Johnson at CP-217, the two Erie main tracks become single track. These days NS/PAS 22K often cuts away the Taylor bound intermodals from the Mechanicville/Ayer IMs at CP-Johnson to drop them in the ex-Erie Liberty St yard (now referred to as the "Middle Yard").
