Two sets of CSX engines are shut down in the Winchester Yard. This yard once served the Pennsylvania north to Hagerstown, C&O east to Harper's Ferry and south up the Shenandoah Valley, and Winchester Western west towards West Virginia. Today the Winchester Western has also taken over the Pennsylvania line and CSX serves the former C&O.
