Excursion Train At Torrington, Conn.

A MBRRE chartered excursion train is seen chuggin' northbound through Torrington, Conn. via the Naugatuck Railroad on Saturday, April 29, 2017. The train ran from Thomaston to Waterbury in the AM; Then Thomaston to Torrington in the PM. The train seen here is powered by a U23B locomotive leading with a NH paint FL9 trailing at the end of the train. This is very rare mileage. Last time I saw a passenger train in Torrington was back in 1997-1998. (There may have been a few since then). Today's train was packed with riders. Several photo-run-bys were done along the route.
