Grain Storage warehouse in Pittsfield, NH

The end of track in Pittsfield by the mid 1940's. This is a former grain storage warehouse. It is not the freight house. The depot is no longer standing.

This old grain warehouse was beautifully renovated and painted using B&M colors, but the structure was never owned by the railroad, nor did the SV ever paint it’s buildings in these colors. The railroad’s freight house is indeed still standing in its original location just a short distance southeast of this building and used by a steel fabricator.

Thank you for the correction Earl. I have updated the photo description. I will photograph the REAL freight house soon as I go up to Wolfeboro often.
