Work continues on Wednesday February 22 to repair the damage from Sunday night's derailment at the Hoosac Middle passing track east of Hoosick Falls NY. The second of two overturned loaded salt cars is the focus of attention after which switch repair will be next on the list. The inability of 14R to drop VTR bound salt cars at this location has hampered operations but should soon be remedied once the last remaining salt car is righted.
