PanAm Southern AD-1 -- Friday December 23, 2016

PanAm Southern's 337 and 3402 comprised the power for today's AD-1 seen here after sunset in North Bennington Vt. They were relegated to "pusher service" for the mammoth 96 car train headed by VTR's 432-311-310-9000 out of Hoosick Junction. The original train of 50 cars staged out of North Adams was augmented by 22 cars added at Hoosick Middle -- and another 24 added via a run-around move for the last block of cars dropped earlier by a mainline freight on the #1 track between HJ and Eagle Bridge.

Photographed by Cully, December 23, 2016.
Added to the photo archive by John (Cully) Cullinan, December 23, 2016.
