New # 1 track and other construction at Wilmington Jct....
<BR>Looking inbound from the southbound overpass of I 93 in Wilmington towards Boston, one can see the Wildcat on the right and the single track Western Route straight ahead heading via Reading to Boston. The Wildcat Branch connects with the Lowell Line in 3 miles at Wilmington Station.

<BR>The switch on the #1 track is a high speed switch similar to the new one at VALE and could be the beginning of a right hand crossover.?
