Late Monday afternoon finds the Batten Kill trundling back north with eleven inbound loads for Greenwich Junction. Looks like the lawnmower under the American flag has had an extensive workout today under the seldom-seen sunny skies, so I'm sure the owner has paused to pick up a well deserved "sixer" at Yushak's Grocery here in Shushan on the way home.
