VTR B&R action -- Saturday November 28, 2015

Because the Friday B&R turn was annulled, Saturday proved to be ideal (but not weather-wise) for some extensive switching for the VTR crew after their arrival here in North Bennington Vt. The newly arrived "sisters" are about to be separated from the two trailing GMTX units after spotting a car earlier at Whitman's. The two four axles will make a rare trip out the Paran Branch past "Turkey Hill" to retrieve 20 of the 55 empty OMYA tanks held for storage, and help will be provided by the MOW pick-up seen in this picture. After the 20 are stashed on the passing track, the reunited power will place the PanAm Southern interchange cars on the branch, couple to the empties, and head back north to Rutland on this cold, damp and dreary Saturday.
