Many of the Vermont State property tax bills are due on October 15th, so it might be appropriate that "red" is the color of the day in so many ways. The ex-FEC SD70M now sporting VTR's 432 drifts south towards the yard board in North Bennington Vt. The adjoining vegetation so well known for pictures in the Shaftsbury swampland gave up their leaves 10 days ago during a brisk passing of a cold-front, but some of the solitary trees such as this one by Vermont Route 67A can still be proud of their vibrant color.
