Photo of Crossing The Viaduct At Bernardston
Crossing The Viaduct At Bernardston

Pan Am Railways FP9s No. 1 and 2 lead the PAR office car special on an inspection trip over the north end of the Conn. River Line at Bernardston, Mass. on Thursday, November 15, 2012. The magnificent stone viaduct was constructed in 1848. This was the only photo I got of the OCS on the Conn. River line. I wasn't familiar with the route so I decided to wait at one good location - rather than run the risk of losing the train on a wild goose chase.
