CNR 4-8-2 #6060 at the 1989 Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival

CNR 4-8-2 #6060 carries invited guests and dignitaries during her inaugural run at the 1989 Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival. For 10 days, retired (CNR) engineer Harry Home and #6060 gave festival-goers short back and forth train rides on fresh tracks laid on the former CPR spur in the Old Strathcona neighbourhood. Shot with a Pentax ME Super camera and 28 mm lens. Other than colour desaturation and a little cropping, no digital editing was used. An original colour print of this photo won an honourable mention in Kodak's 1990 KINSA Competition.

Photographed by David J. Reeves, August 16, 1989.
Added to the photo archive by David Reeves, January 20, 2012.
