CANADIAN PACIFIC 4-4-0 AT NORTON

Canadian Pacific A2q 4-4-0 144. has arrived at its terminal at Norton, New Brunswick with the mixed train from Chipman. The train came in on a wye and backed into the station which is shared with the Canadian National seen on the right. The 4-4-0 was built in 1886 and will spend the night at the one-stall enginehouse in the center of the wye. Three 4-4-0's powered the branch until nearly the end of 1959 because the bridges on the line had light load limits.
