Track removal on the former Green Island branch of the D&H (CP Rail) seen in March, 2009. This is a view looking north in the town of Green Island, NY (across from Troy) toward the big scrap yard located about two blocks distanct. You can see a yellow CAT excavator in the background that was used in removing the rails. Everything is gone now.
