Repair Job View 2

After coming down for some lunch I noticed this repair job on the road that brings you to the boat landing in Gardiner, Maine. It appears that better rails replaced the two crossing the roadway. If the Downeaster comes to Brunswick in 2010, Maine Eastern has said they will run a train to Augusta if two trains a day are dedicated to the Brunswick service. This shot is looking toward Farmingdale. The City of Augusta should learn from this and stop burying tracks 'even new ones" to make room for parking spaces. And people still wonder why there's nothing going on in Augusta, the State Capital, hmm...?
