CENTRAL VERMONT 467 AT PALMERN-5a 2-8-0 467 is taking on coal and water at the Palmer, Mass. engine facility with a fan trip in tow. The engine could have held to the running track but on this trip came down the turntable lead and will have to back out -- the turntable is only several yards behind where I am standing aside the coal tower. Blame Ektachrome for the color -- or lack of it.
