CENTRAL VERMONT P-1a 0-8-0 507

There were not many 0-8-0's as good looking as 507. I liked the Elesco feedwater heater high above the smokebox, the single sand dome, large cab and clear vision tender with flared coal bunker. The big red and gold tender emblem, raised cab numerals, red cab doors and windows really made CV steam. I shot her at Brattleboro during a May 22, 1956 fan trip.
