O&W New Berlin Jct., NY

Believe it or not, the clump of tall grass to the left is all that remains of the O&W junction at New Berlin, NY. To the right is Junction Road. The actual junction was towards the left and a few hundred feet from the road. The New Berlin Branch came directly towards the photographer while the main line crossed Junction Road about 40 feet ahead. Hidden in the tall grass is the foundation for the station (which has thankfully been preserved and moved to Mount Upton, NY). Photo taken Saturday, 03/07/2009.
