Pullman married ends. Side view of Pullman East Boston Tunnel Cars at the Orient Heights Shops showing the draw-bar connecting the two married ends. Odd and even numbered cars were semi-permanently attached in this manner. The even numbered cars carried the large pantograph for current collection outside of the East Boston Tunnel.
