Keokuk Junction "Triple Header," Elvaston, Illinois, October 2007

GP20 units 2057, 2045 and 2018 bring their short train across the US-136 crossing. A three-unit lashup is rare on the Keokuk Junction (Pioneer Railcorp). Perhaps one unit was deadheading to the Peoria area after repairs or repainting in Keokuk.

Photographed by Dr. Richard Leonard, October 4, 2007.
