Mechanicstown is located just east of Middletown. The station was a restaurant or night club at one time. The original station is on the right, while the newer additions are on the left. The property is currently unused, and the structure and surrounding grounds are in deplorable condition. Even worse, strip malls and shopping plazas are sprouting up only hundreds of feet away, and I cannot help but wonder if this classic O&W station will still be here the next time I pass through.
