Caboose Parade at Pittsfield, MA

A parade of former B&M and Maine Central RR cabooses are seen heading west on the Boston & Albany at Pittsfield, Mass., in 1990. The cabooses are on the tail end of the Guilford local which is just about to head south down the Canaan Branch at
CP150. Bound for Canaan, Conn., the cabooses were intented for a gift shop/lunch/motel complex
that never materialized. They sat vacant and rusting away for years, and were eventually sold off one
by one. Color slide by John Bazan.

Photographed by John Bazan, 1990.
