Heading into historyBay Colony 1706 has the trash train duty on this September night, giving B39-8E #8580 the night off. Although the B-boat was almost twice as powerful as the Geeps she replaced, crews reportedly disliked the big GE because she took much longer to "load", making switching difficult. Four months later, BCLR is off the Cape, the B-boat is headed for Florida, and 1706 may end up at Millis.
