Tamping at MP 3.8Today, the crew started at about 9am, tamping ties from MP 3.8 to MP 3.9. 92 ties were tamped and spiked today, extending the line another 1/10th mile. Pictured are (l-r) Dave Baker, Mark Glaser, Ed Palmatier, Earl Pardini, Derek Stapleton, Ray Farrell and foreman George Peck.
